Change Agent Training

Purpose:
The role of the Change Agent is to challenge the current status, identify opportunities for improvement and implement change in a bid to achieve even higher performance in Quality, Cost and Delivery. This will then result in competitive advantage.

Approach:
Training is flexible and structured in a modular workshop form, tailored to the needs of individual organisations and their managers.

A structured approach combines learning-by-doing techniques, at a process level, supported by fundamental theory developed and applied in the classroom.

Courses can be run either in house at the company's premises/training Centre for numbers of 5 to 8 people. Or, can be run off-site (as part of a 'mixed' none company specific course) where the numbers of people from a company are less than 5.

Duration:
Training duration is 20 days (increasing to 25 days to include NVQ level 3 assessment and accreditation).

Course Content:
The Change Agent requires similar skills to the Team Leader, but acting a facilitator throughout the whole business to assist the process of change. To achieve this requires the ability to gain quickly an understanding of the manufacturing/production and administrative processes involved since the role may require working in different areas of the business. The Change Agent also needs the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation

Amongst the key factors that affect continued process improvement sustainability are:

  •  Robust processes
  • Supervision roles and skills
  • Support function roles and skills

The Course is Suitable for:
Managers who wish to take up a Continuous Process Improvement role within their business.
